ஐங்குறுநூறு 262, கபிலர், குறிஞ்சித் திணை – தலைவி தோழியிடம் சொன்னது
சிறு தினை மேய்ந்த தறுகண் பன்றி,
துறுகல் அடுக்கத்துத் துணையொடு வதியும்,
இலங்கு மலை நாடன் வரூஉம்
மருந்தும் அறியும் கொல் தோழி, அவன் விருப்பே?
My man comes from radiant mountain
Where the fearless pig grazes small millet
And then sleeps with its love on the rock!
My friend are you aware of any medicine
to make him love me?

Some background: Thaliavan would be from a different village/hill. Thalaivan and Thalaivi have met and by context of this decade looks like they have had Iyarkai Punarchi. They meet every night secretly and suddenly he stops his visits or not makes it regularly.
Pig grazing millet is men enjoying pleasures of love. The poem can be construed in two ways
- He after enjoying Thalaivai, enjoys other women (Pig grazing millet) and Thalaivai wants a way to make him desire her and marry her (Pig sleeping with its pair)
- Poem of hope, where would the pig go after grazing, it will come back to sleep with its mate. Similarly he will come, I need to find a medicine to make him come faster
